Many pension funds and other major allocators in the region have nascent private credit portfolios. Global competition means that middle market direct lending is increasingly crowded. And many institutions lack the teams or risk profile to move into more specialist areas such as asset-based financing, royalties or in the lower-middle market. How then, can investors catch up?
